Every town in the UK needs its traditional British pub - and that’s exactly what we were tasked with creating for The Swan in Pangbourne.

Already a beautiful 17th century building steeped in history, we knew it was crucial to preserve The Swan’s original charm in this project. We therefore began with a thorough assessment of the building’s structural stability and current state, carefully balancing this with our client’s hopes to transform the space.

Our team worked quickly to establish the best course of action, identifying where costs could be saved and pinpointing areas that needed significant care and specialist suppliers. Through our adaptable approach to clear project management, we worked closely with The Swan’s team to ensure the pub was ready for business before Christmas, helping to maintain their loyal customer base.
